How cool is it to have tons of snow, yet the temp is mid 50's and the sun out?? It makes for a fun weekend.....LOTS of hiking! I don't know who is more tired yet today...me, or Hammie...Addie wasn't fazed a bit (the energy of that girl!) Hammie was perfectly fine while out and about.....maybe my 'baby' is maturing. I decided that even when I'm REALLY old....I will hike......even if it's only a few feet into the woods with a walker...LOL My kids were here the entire weekend....so between hikes, that meant eating tons of food. (the good part...no cooking needed today) Ham wasn't a bit strange around the kids this time.......he usually is for the first few hours.....but not this time. 
I usually make them be very calm and introduce Ham into the group slowly...WELL..he just ran up with a big 'hello' and had a blast. A strange moment came when my daughter found some bottles of bubbles in the garage (leftovers from a huge picnic last summer).....she was blowing bubbles....Addie thought it was food, and a fight broke out between her and Ham. YIKES! Ham was bleeding..but it was just a slight nik in his mouth (after I went into panic seeing blood) It was just a super weekend for all of us...........UH, except the cat...she was obviously delighted when everyone left. (you know..she is NEVER social!!) lol I just heard winter returns soon...........GEEZ. So, the rodent was correct afterall. Bah Humbug.
