Funny that I *just* had this conversation with my vet... well, not about the vaccine, but about H1N1. Dogs cannot get any human flu. This includes H1N1. In fact, the only household pet that can get a human flu or illness, is a ferret. So, Rosey will NOT be getting the vaccine if it really is out there... as there is really no point

I'm not going to be giving Jenna any shots that are unnecessary, even I'm not getting a h1n1 flu, I've heard so many things about people saying even a simple dose of h1n1 can kill you(Because in syringes, there's always a small percentage of the flu in it to get your cells fighting and stopping you from catching it.) And for that reason, I'm too afraid that my immune system wouldn't be strong enough to handle it, so I just wash my hands like every chance I get hope for the best.

^This. I am studying to be a vet tech, and with the dogs that we have here to take care of, I am pretty sure we would have been warned about it to watch for any signs and things, and they'd be much more careful about going to take care of the dogs while we are sick.
