I really don't think he is being guardy because....well, he just isn't a guardy dog, but maybe. Let me try to explain, because it only seems to happen in 1 certain situation.

Hudson seems to be of the opinion that Ben is not allowed to walk into one area of the living room. The living room has 3 doors, 1 exterior and 2 interior. Ben's chair is next to 1 of the interior doors. Mine is next to the other interior door & across from the exterior door. When ever Ben gets up off of his chair and walks to "my" side of the room, Hudson will meet him at about the middle of the room and bark at him, jump on him, nip at his feet, etc. just generally discouraging Ben from walking over there.

His crate is also on 'my' side of the room, but he doesn't seem to be trying to guard that. Plus, Ben crates him most mornings since he leaves for work after me.

Just trying to figure out what's going on in his pea sized brain and how to correct it, because I know that Ben is a little tired of it.
