I make them sit in from of the TV and watch videos of Rox Dene at least once a week.
I actually am a bit worried I'm going to have jumping issues with Gusto. He's such a rocket on equipment that I think he'll figure out fast that flat and low is the fastest way to get over the jumps. We'll see. He hasn't seen jumps yet, so I think the plan will be to start him on grids in a few months. In the mean time, I'm cheerfully basking in the glow of a dog with a killer foundation in contacts who already doesn't care where I am or what I'm doing, just drives to position

I actually really thought I wanted to try dock diving with him...but as of last summer, he refused to swim unless someone (human) got in the water with him I'm hoping he'll feel braver this summer. He's such a kamikaze dog, I think he'd love it if he figures it out!
