Gusto had a big long playdate today to celebrate January thaw. The grass was torn up pretty badly when we left, but Gusto would like to offer evidence that none of it was his fault.

And possibly my new favorite Gusto photo:

I think I've seen 3 photos ever in which his feet are actually touching the ground in any fashion...

He's got pretty good form, just needs to tighten up that front end. What is it with you and your 'hunter' basculing dogs? :D

I believe you really do have the perfect dog for agility! Lol! Maybe even dock diving. Do love the last one!

I make them sit in from of the TV and watch videos of Rox Dene at least once a week.

I actually am a bit worried I'm going to have jumping issues with Gusto. He's such a rocket on equipment that I think he'll figure out fast that flat and low is the fastest way to get over the jumps. We'll see. He hasn't seen jumps yet, so I think the plan will be to start him on grids in a few months. In the mean time, I'm cheerfully basking in the glow of a dog with a killer foundation in contacts who already doesn't care where I am or what I'm doing, just drives to position .

I actually really thought I wanted to try dock diving with him...but as of last summer, he refused to swim unless someone (human) got in the water with him  I'm hoping he'll feel braver this summer. He's such a kamikaze dog, I think he'd love it if he figures it out!

I keep stopping when I see this thread because my kennel name is Gravity. ;) So I must make an appearance. Great flying shots! Clearly you cannot demolish the grass while levitating. LOL
