Yes, I think all this time we have been lying to ourselves. We didn't want to see a fluffly ball of fur.. we wanted to see a big 100 lb dog, so that's what we see..

You will NOT believe me. You really won't. In fact, I don't believe them either. i actually emailed them asking if they had the right dog.

But, as it stands, Buddy's breeds are (listed in prevalence of breed):

MALTESE

BOSTON TERRIER

Labrador Retriever

WEST HIHGLAND WHITE TERRIER

Actually, what would be funny, except for the cost would be to have someone test their purebred with documented lines and see what they say... like I know Armani's lines way back and they are Yorkie all the way but it would be funny to have him tested and see if it came back like Fila/Doberman mix or something... then we would know they really dont know what they are doing. :rofl1:

And I'm seriously thinking about doing it with either my Rottweiler or one of my APBTs. Hell, maybe I'll do both.

I use that vid a lot Cheetah. There are others on blogs and such where the results are like Buddy's (use him as an example frequently) or are known breeds.

I tell people to get their pittie type dogs tested. (we live in Ontario) if it comes back as APBT or related breed you loose nothing but some money. If it comes back as lab/bc mix then you have 'proof on paper' if you ever need it.

LOL! Instead of spending money on someone else doing the test with a purebred dog, why not send them (along with their test results for referrence) a picture of a purebred Rottweiler or Great Dane and ask them if they're confident that their test is correct?

On the plus side, if anybody tries to accuse him of having any banned breeds in him, you have an official DNA test to prove otherwise.

Actually, I did this with Gavroche partially for that very reason At least his came back a little more accurate...90% boxer, 10% Scottie lol
