Maybe it got mixed up with someone else's test. A little itty bitty fluffy dog with weird pointy ears in a tuxedo has returned as a Rottie/Pointer mix.

I see maltese for sure... I always thought he was a maltese why is everyone acting like its so wierd:confused:?

:lol-sign:

Actually, what would be funny, except for the cost would be to have someone test their purebred with documented lines and see what they say... like I know Armani's lines way back and they are Yorkie all the way but it would be funny to have him tested and see if it came back like Fila/Doberman mix or something... then we would know they really dont know what they are doing. :rofl1:

Well, I still won't disclose their list of breeds, but I think we all know Buddy is NOT a maltese. LOL.

Still laughing. :rofl1:

:rofl1: Wow! And I was seriously thinking about having Scooter tested, maybe I should re-think that!

OMG! *dies* Please let us know what their e-mail says! And if I were you, I'd cross-post it in other boards, so people know what a crock this is.

Perhaps you should send an e-mail to the Today show. Let them know that you have a *great* follow-up story on doggie DNA testing.

LOL- it's too funny. It wasn't expensive at all. Still waiting for an email response. LOL

Yeah, I plan to cross post on others boards I'm on. Tee hee. Did the Today show do a story on DNA testing?

Yes, it was the Today show. They did a DNA test on Meridith Viera's small designer dog (an aussiepoo). The test came back, and labeled the dog as a borzoi, sheltie and collie mix. :rofl1: It was hilarious---that dog had to be no more than 15-20 pounds at most.

You can Google it online for more details.

I will, thanks. More dog DNA test bloppers. LOL
Great! If I were you, be sure to include pictures and details of each breed in your e-mail, along with a picture of Buddy, and his height and weight. There's no guarantee that whoever answers your e-mail will be dog savvy enough to recognize breeds.

Yes, I think all this time we have been lying to ourselves. We didn't want to see a fluffly ball of fur.. we wanted to see a big 100 lb dog, so that's what we see..
