ShadowCat, I'm so sorry about your dog's illness. Mattie did indeed have hemangiosarcoma, though she died during recovery soon after surgery and before the biopsy came back positive, so I didn't have much of a chance to do research on the cancer. My vet did say it is a very bad prognosis, though he said he's had the ocassional miracle. Where there's life, there's hope, ya know? I'm sure you're cherishing every moment you have with him. And know that he's comforted by your being with him. He is so lucky to have you in his life. Give him a big hug for me. I will say some prayers tonight for you and your sweet dog.
