Forgot about this question. My addiction to the Manchesters only hit me in 1993. The name doesn't ring any bells with me, but I am sure if I were willing to talk to Mary C. she would know if it were anything of significance. And of course, there are some differences in lines between the Standard Manchesters and the Toy variety.

And you are a Nut Butt compared to anything, rofl. I bred Whippets since about 1980. Had me a parcel of champions, thanks to co-breeding with the owners of Sporting Field Whippets. Last litter of Whippets was 1992.

My first litter of Dobes was in 1977. And my last litter of Dobes was in 1978! I was a fast learner.

Ok, you "Know" what the terms mean. Do you know what they look like........i.e. do you recognize correct angulation when you see it? Or proper layback of shoulder? Depth of brisket? Etc, etc, etc, etc??

I am slacking off for the night also. I hope to hades you realize that this is supposed to be mostly in fun. Chop busting a bit, true, but all in good fun. At least from MY point of view! I'm not even going to begin to touch on everything that has happened in the last 10 pages, so I will just say Hurray for Dakotah and her forthcoming puppy, because at least she is taking the trouble to go through at least a half-decent breeder and not through the online puppy stores. I'm also pretty sure Dakotah has looked heavily into why this is the dog for her and that's where I'm going to stop. I'm one of those 'pet' people and while I would love to learn more about the intricacies of breeding, I go more for getting rescue dogs.

Well, one point is that if more care was taken as far as breeding there would be less dogs to rescue. A good breeder will guarantee his/her puppies, and will have a buy back understanding with puppy buyers.

And of course good breeders will only sell pets on spay/neuter basis. There is nothing at all wrong with being a "pet person". We are all pet people! It is just that some of us are more heavily addicted than others, lol.

WOW! Amazing what goes on while I'm asleep at night. I am NOT about to read through it all! NO way!!! But I do have to say this and this is JMO I do highly believe that Mrs.Cindy is NOT a BYB, she doesn't sell her pups to a pet store, un-fit homes, etc. But she sells her pups to good homes. I'm hoping to go to her house this Wednesday and look at River and Bear. I'll report was happens, when that time comes.

A Mobius strip is a mathmatical thingy...basically it's a paper strip that was twisted once before fastened together, so it looks like the infinity sign. But there's never an ending or a clear beginning. It made sense when I typed out my response but the more I think about it, the more I confuse myself.
