and she is terrified of it! We got Misha her first raw bones today. After the tooth abscess episode we thought they would be a good idea to help her teeth stay clean. However she just sniffed at the one I held out for her and ran away....now it is sitting in her bowl and she keeps coming over to it, staring at it and hiding....how scary can a bone be, lol.....

:D lol that reminds me of someone... for the first week or so her bone would just sit in her basket and she'd occasionally look/sniff at it, especially if she thought she wasn't being watched.

Then suddenly, one day, unprompted - crunch crunch!

Ever since then - no stopping her!

The crunching finally started this morning - hopefully now she'll follow Bonnie's example!

I'm laughing. It must have been quiet a site to see her not wanting to go near a bone. Glad she's finally go to it.

I spoke to soon..........it has now become THE scariest thing I could possibly put on the floor - and yes it is now well 'ripe'. I think secretly she is laughing at me, wondering what I am going to do with a freezer full of 'scary 'bones..........sometimes she is a strange dog..........
