As much as it pains me to admit. I love his name to death. Unfortunatly, to a dog, Gimmick sounds exactly like Gambit and everyone is confused. Mommy is having trouble keeping them straight as well.

The previous owner did bring his registration papers, and he is submitted under Something Whippet This way Comes. I would like a magic name and the current contenders are Hex and Shaman. Any other thoughts?

Voodoo

Merlin

Gandalf

Alatar

Radagast

Oz

If you're a fan of Terry Pratchett, he's got some pretty good wizard names.

Rincewind

Ridcully

Cutangle

Windle Poons

I knew a woman that had two dogs, named Hocus and Pocus.

I wanted to steal Hocus for a future puppy, but to me magic named just don't seem to suit many of the breeds I'm considering.
