My vet taught me how to do sub-Q fluids for the kitten so I could do it at home and not have to take her in every time she got dehydrated since she was pretty sick. Administrations were going fine until today. I had the needle in, and then she struggled as I was pushing the fluids in, and YOWLED as I was pushing the fluids in (she never does that), I am worried that when she struggled I hit a bone or a nerve or something. She now meows in pain when I touch her shoulder. :( Has anyone heard of this or had something similar happen? Any comforting words? I am feeling so terrible and I am so worried about her.

Probably just sore. The little guys tend to get ouchy when they've been routinely getting fluids
