I just walked up to the store to get two bags of Smart Food.

Their big bags of popcorn, they fit in one grocery bag.

And the wonderful Roxy girl, carried the bag home! All the way! It's about a 10-15 minute walk and she just got a short break at a stop light.

She was confused at the very start and dropped the bag, when she started to walk she kicked it and it started swinging all over the place! LMAO

But she figured out, if she held her head up high, her legs wouldn't hit the bag!

Of course she got a huge jumbo hot dog when she got home too! :

It's her command "hold".

We started with a normal dumbell, whilst working on retrieves.

Than once she had the "take it"/"give it", "hold" command down pat, I started using it on different objects other than the dumbell.

I'm trying to teach Riot how to carry things for me!!

Right now he only carries notes to people and he carrys my money (lol yes.. the extra bills that I get for change - he takes them from the teller and carries them around).
He'll carry anything small at the moment, but soon as heavier weight is involved he drops it.
Gotta let meknow how you taught Roxy that stuff!

The "hold" command is all it is.

She learned it from the dumbell. And I just transfer it to new objects. Roxy knows that "hold" means whatever is in my mouth stays there until mommy says "give it". LOL

She dropped the bag once though, it was swinging all over the place and she was kicking it! LOL, She got a "wrong!", and we started over. She figured out she just had to hold her head high up! LMAO
