Ruckus is on a food trail due to allergies. I am only suppose to feed him that one special food but i have not been sticking to it.
i am giving him salmon treats... he has never had any salmon before and that is the only ingredient in it. so i know he is not allergic to that.

either way, my question is. I have been feeding some fruit. Today he got about a fourth of an Asian pear. he loved it! is that okay to feed. any fruits to avoid? what fruits have your dogs tried? how about citrus fruits!

    thanks guys :)

Hannah loves apples and bananas. Just watch the sugar content with fruit - you don't want to feed it in large amounts (for digestive reasons as well).

Fruits to avoid - avacado, raisins, grapes...ummmmm...I believe the pits of most fruits are considered toxic by some authorities, though I don't know in what amount.

I'm not sure I'd go with citrus - the acid may upset the tummy.
