My girlfriend rescued a dog. He is now 9 months old and weighs 55 lbs. Can anyone give me an idea of what you think he is a mix of. Thanks.

Lab mix, maybe some Pit-type dog in there too. Beautiful eyes.

I'm glad everyone is saying pittie mix because that's what I've been thinking since she got him at 11 weeks old. I haven't seen him since he was a pup and can't wait to meet him again.

I'd say APBT or Amstaff mixed with labrador.. Lab just b/c of the legs and coat. Pittie b/c of his gorgeous face. :)

He looks just like a Lab/Pit Bull mix that we had at the shelter I used to work at. He is very cute!

I agree with the majority, Lab/Pit

I'll go with the majority and say lab and pit, but his eye shape suggests Shar-Pei!

It looks a lot like my old Pit/Golden Ret/?? mix. I don't have any pics, but my dog had a similar face with darker eyes, Golden type ears, and had a lot of white on his chest and feet. He was a very compact 75 pounds. He was a really great dog, and it's hard to believe he's been gone 8 years now.
