Just wanted to share my site/facebook with you all! Since spring of 2011 I have been custom making dog collars out of nylon/fabric or nylon/ribbon and selling/displaying at local stores and online. I offer some pre-made collars, but I mainly focus on custom orders for collars, harnesses, leashes, etc. There are a load of pictures to view/check out on my Facebook Page here, and I have a website as well that is gradually getting up and running where you can see some information about how to order and prices.

Never afraid to try new things, either.

Here are a few pictures just to give you an idea.

Oooo, those are very nice! Makes me want to get nylon collars for my dogs again (I've since switched to only leather). Veeeery tempting!

Thank you! I know, a lot of people have switched to leather, it seems... Even me! Haha.

But my target clients tend to be dog-park goers with mainly just companion dogs that don't get out too much and they like them to be cute. XD Hoping to expand to more fleece type of stuff soon as well!

Depending on my finances, I may hit you up for a martingale or two. I can't use my leather collars in the obedience/rally ring because they have too much "bling." Logan at least will need an obedience collar. I'd rather have a nice one than a boring one!

I was so excited thinking these were collars with the Fraggle Rock characters on them.

They are adorable collars, mind you, but I'm feeling a bit sad now!

Awesome, I'd love to make you a nice martingale for the ring!

Haha, I am so sorry!

I wondered the same thing.. Though I think that dates us.... LOL
I named the business after Frag because I call him "Fraggle"... when we named him I had no idea what Fraggle Rock was... I guess it stopped airing in the early 90s and I was born in 92. lol!

Any chance you could get your hands on a Doctor Who something-or-other? :D
I don't know ANYTHING about Dr. Who, but when I searched etsy for a Dr. Who ribbon, this is pretty much all I got. I have no idea what it is/means, so I don't know if it'd be something you'd like on a collar or not... haha.

Doctor Who Ribbon

I hate that super specialty stuff like this is so hard to find!

If you are able to start adding fleece lining on the inside I'm definitely interested. I really could use some fun collars with fleece lining since I have two dogs that have sensitive skin.

I'll keep you posted. I'm going to try it out tomorrow or Saturday, I think. I picked up some fleece tonight to see what I could do slip/tug wise...

I made this lime green slip/tug lead for Recon, the baby Border Collie. Fits great, good length. Had no idea what I was doing when I started, but it turned out OK... a little more practice on my knotting and these could turn out nice!

ACK THAT'S AMAZING! <3 Okay, I will DEFINITELY be ordering a martingale from you as soon as I can if you're able to use that ribbon. Not that it helps you any, but that's the tenth Doctor and the TARDIS and it's PERFECT AND AWESOME.

Also, I couldn't find that one when I looked because I searched for "Doctor Who" instead of "Dr Who" :rofl1:

Haha, I'm glad it works!! I searched both spellings because I wasn't sure. :lol-sign:

There are a few shops carrying it, so I'm sure when you're ready to order I will be able to get some!

Ok for a serious post in this thread, though, do you do H-style harnesses?
Can you link to one? People call all sorts of styles different things and I don't use them so I can't keep up.. :p I've done "Step In" harnesses, "Easy walk" harnesses, and what I just call a "standard" harness... I can replicate almost anything that I can see, though. :)
