I went outside about an hour ago and while Maggie and I were enjoying the semi nice yet windy weather here came a what looks to me like a purebred Black Lab. Maggie being with out Tucker was more than happy to meet and greet with him. He is friendly enough but skinny. He's got the prettiest head and is just so sweet. Actually now that I look at him his dishy muzzle makes me think possibly pointer in there somewhere too.

He's a sweet boy who followed me up to my sisters and back. He has no collar but alot of people around here don't put collars on their dogs. I can't bring him inside but I did take him out to the heated and half carpeted garage. Gave him a tiny bit of food and water. I really don't know where to go from here. I guess I will just have to put one of Pixies old collars on him and walk him around and see if anyone knows him. He seems young maybe a year at the most.

I have a couple pics on my phone. But they won't send to my email for whatever reason . So if someone could help me out that would be cool lol.

search the internet for "found a dog," there are a bunch of places you can report a found dog. also call your local pounds and humane societies to give a description of the dog (you can keep it in the meantime if you want). Petsmart has a board you can put up found dogs too.

I found a stray a while back, and used those methods... we got plenty of calls but no one was the real owner. Found him a really nice new family though after a month!
