    You might try http://www.download.com/Safari-AdBlock/3000-2174_4-10793198.html

Not a safari user myself, but that is supposed to be similar to the firefox plugin, and is also free.

Not a good idea :(... just cuz you have not seen evidence of attacks does not mean they have not occurred. All of my websites are nix based, and attacks occur frequently.

    Thanks :)

Oh, for anyone using the newest OS, you also need the newest version of the ad blocker...just a newer version of the one linked

Crap... I just downloaded Firefox 3 and when I tried to download Adblock Plus it shows that it's downloaded but it's not getting rid of those ads. :(

  5. You have to right click the image making the racket, and select "AdBlock Image".

I got the ads stopped mostly on my work computer... but that trick wasn't working on my home computer and it's still showing all the ads. I just installed firefox 3 on both computers yesterday. On my home computer I'll click the little block option when I see the ad. It pulls up a box where you can choose to block it and i hit ok and it doesn't make the ad go away whereas on my work computer it goes away
