Has anyone else on Chaz discovered her/been doing the program?

I signed up a few weeks ago but had not really done anything with it. This morning I actually shined my sink and believe it or not I feel better....

I saw it mentioned in another thread and checked out her site. My kitchen is in the middle of being remodeled, but as soon as it's done, I'm going to shine my sink and go from there! I'm hoping that having a brand new sink will make it very easy to shine, and hopefully keep me more motivated to continue! I really do need a program to help me stay on track with cleaning!!

My company made some Flylady magnets but that was pretty much all I knew about her. Checked her site and it looks interesting, because I am living in CHAOS. :)

I've been doing her program since Samuel was born. It's incredibly helpful. The whole sink shining thing, it's weird how well it works but it does.

She's really ingenious in how she starts from the most basic healthy habits (like drinking water regularly) and uses those as a launchpad for having a well organized, well run household. As more things are brought under control, you add things to the program bit by bit. She even delves into financial organization and getting rid of debt, etc.

It's been a lifesaver for me personally. I live in a house of people with two hairy dogs and kids, and it's amazing that the sink is always clean, I feel healthy and taken care of, there's no heaps of clutter and unwashed laundry, and it doesn't feel like I'm putting in any extra effort. I'm just way more efficient, and can maintain things so they don't get out of control now.

Plus I have so much more TIME now. Which is way unexpected. I used to scramble everywhere trying to get things cleaned and under control, and take care of my kids, and there was never any time to do fun stuff with them like go for walks and outings or do projects sitting down with them. I'd always have to set my daughter up with a project and dash back and forth doing chores and helping her. Now it's awesome. And I have plenty of time in the evening now to do my own projects, vs. scrambling to get chores done before bed.

So I definitely recommend trying it out.

Romy, that's awesome, and your story has me even more excited to try this! I always feel like I'm scrambling, and the thought of having more free time without the feeling of more effort is exactly what I need (I know I need to put in the effort, but I always feel like it's sucking up all of my free time). Thanks! :)
