Since I'm new, I figured I'd post some pics of my dogs during the little bit of snow we had so far this year. (Same thread as DF - sorry DFers for the repeat!)

The whole crew (from left to right - Pentti, Bubbles, Kimma)... Looks like a weird album cover :p

Pen, with the tennis ball he dug out :)

Can you tell that Pentti likes the snow???

    My little Kimma <3

Poor Pentti - can't get a break from those two girls LOL

I love their coloring...such a nice, rich red.

They also have the cutest little faces :)

Red dogs look so good in snow, it sets off their color nicely I think.

Gorgeous dogs, I love the foofy curled tails!

They are so pretty! I've only ever met a couple in real life and they were so cute and animated. They were very vocal too, talking to everyone they met, haha.

    They are such striking dogs!

How common are they? Because I could swear that one of my favorite dogs from my old boarding resort was at least part FS.

Thank you very much on both counts :)

Hahaha Kimma is my crazy one. She's been referred to as a "Border Collie in Spitz clothing" by some of my agility instructors LOL.

I love their coloring, too. The breed varies in terms of coloring, though, and I've also met some lighter ones that were also very stunning.

Hahaha they totally do have foofy tails!

Oh yes. They are super vocal. I like that in a dog, but not everyone does LOL.

    Thank you :)

Hmmmm they are really not very common, but it is possible that you met a mix. We've been finding quite a few mixes/pure-looking Finkies in shelters lately... It also really depends on where you are located (I see you are in CO). There are breeders in New Mexico, Oregon, Arizona, a few in Texas, and at least one in California that I know of. So who knows! They are also all used to shipping to all over the country.

Thanks! They certainly keep me entertained :)

    Thank you so much :)
