I have a 9 week old puppy, I feed her three times a day. We eventually want to transition her into twice a day. Any thoughts or ideas on the age time frame to do this? I realize every dog is different and size and breed play into it... Just looking for a general rule of thumb.

It also depends on what kind of food you're feeding. When I was feeding my dog Nutro, I was giving him about 2 scoops twice a day (he's 65 lbs). But now that he's on Taste of the Wild, he doesn't eat as much, so sometimes I'll only feed him once, but usually twice.

I would hope Dizzy, that you would not feed a 9 week old large breed puppy only once per day.

Rottylover, usually by 6 months I have eliminated lunch and am down to 2 meals per day. By a year I cut to once a day in the evening.

Now we need many MANY more photos of your adorable puppy. :D

I would hope, Redrye, that you would know my dog is 3 years old.

I fed my puppy 4 times a day until about 10 weeks, 3 meals a day until 5 months or so, then 2 meals.. now at 1.5 years, it's pretty random. Sometimes he'll get 2 meals, sometimes none, depending on how much I gave him the day before or plan to give him the day after.
