Yep, people have been like "Ann?" Haha. I get so frustrated when I call in for takeout, or do an online order and put his name. Rarely do they say or spell it correctly!

For some reason this always happens to me! No one gets my name right.

"nice to meet you Laura/Laurie/etc"

Hahahaha! I get sick of correcting people, so I let them call me whatever. My sister had hearing problems when she was little and called me Juan for years so, it's al good! Most kids call me Warren.

Exactly like Lauren. I was actually so surprised people decided to add in more syllables that I didn't think to correct them.

Stop pronouncing that "a" lol. There is no "a" sound in Kerry.

Think about how Jerry Seinfeld says his name. That's the sound with Kerri- sounds exactly like that with a K.

I said that it happens, it certainly wasn't my parents or I saying I was "just another Jessica", but the lumping of the same names happens, it's inevitable.

Mine is pronounced Tan-ya. Like sun TAN. Or like tanya tucker lol

Most who spell it tanya pronounce it Tonya but somehow all the girls in my 7th grade class pronounced it the same as i do lol
