One a mystical quest to find the right sort of fabric for a project. I'm making a puppet. It needs a skin. Some sort of stretchy skin. I'm thinking of something stretchy like pantyhose, only heavier. And really durable. Maybe like swimsuit fabric or spandex.

Would swim fabric work? It needs to hold up for yeeaaaars. I don't want something that might disintegrate 10 years from now. At the same time, it's not going to be dunked underwater repeatedly, or washed, or rubbed all over cement or anything like that.

Ideas?

If at all possible check and see the wyzenbeek results. Something in the 10k-15k would probably last FOREVER.

That's a fabulous suggestion! I knew there was someone out there that tested that sort of thing, but had no idea how to find it. Thank you!
