You can't get ahead of your past because you just move on to a new board when things catch up with you.

I can't find the post from the german shepherd board that you posted about rehoming Annie because she was aggressive and then tried to make the whole thing into an april fools joke. Believe me, I just looked and looked and looked, I know it's there somewhere and hopefully I'll find it before they do the next "prune".

You were a lying jerk then and you're a lying jerk now.

I think you've gotten lucky, I think it's dropped off the board.
I read it again recently when I found that you had started posting here about breeding your dogs.
I didn't say anything then because it did indeed sound like you had made some better decsions but it's obvious after reading this thread that's not true.

My mom used to irresponsibly breed, and one of my first forum experiences was me posting about and posting pictures of the last litter she bred which was 3 years ago. I didn't know it was bad,and didn't understand it at all. Didn't know what a byb was, didn't know really about all the homeless animals. But the forum set me straight and I am VERY grateful for them because they taught me alot about whats going on this world pet wise.

She bred two dogs in my lifetime, both dachshunds. The first dachshund was Janet (Who died in 2004). She had two litters, ones was at 1 1/2 old, and the other was at 3 years old (So they were not back to back, and not TOO young). And then she was spayed. (And the father of that litter is Harry, whose 12 now). And the two puppies we kept were Elliot and Daggett (Who are 8 now). And then the last litter she bred was Jannah (4) and Harry again. And we kept Bob and Reese (Now 3). Now I was actually against it at the time. I still didn't know what a byb was , but I did NOT want MY baby getting pregnant and going through it (I was 16 at the time). And I begged her to get her spayed and not make her get pregnant. But she just HAD to make her have a litter (And who got the liberty of taking care of the puppies, and cleaning up their messes and getting no sleep? ME of course.). Luckily she got spayed soon after. And my mom will never breed another dog again, I made sure she learned with me about bybs and rescue dogs. Oh, and forgot to mention Harry was studded out to another dog, Dee Dee (Died in 2006 to a serious back injury) twice. We ended up with Cartman (7 now) from the last litter. We still keep in touch and have weenie meet ups and she doesn't breed anymore either, so thats a good thing!

But people CAN learn from their mistakes! I know I did! :)

AT our kennels the house was a part of the set up. THe whelping box was in the living room and it was my job to stay with the mama. Next to the whelping box were 2 small boxes that had heating lamps above them so the newborns could be moved to this to give mama more room to circle round then all pups were put back until the next one came. No mother was ever left alone.WE had a high success rate of all surviving. ANd i believe this is why. EVen our big litters of 14. Then the pups were closely monitored to make sure no one was getting behind.

STicking around will only make you a better dog owner and breeder for there is a wealth of information on here and well experienced people to ask if you have questions. IN the end it is the pup's and mama's health that matters most, not past mistakes.

Gosh there are certain ways of posting and digging and picking that REALLY REALLY get right up my nose.

Why do some people just come over as THE most irritating, sniping, self righteous, snotty, snobby, egotistical eejits that ever graced the earth?

Some people can come on here, post about something personal and enquiring and actually come across sounding concerned and curious, and other people just look like they're looking for drama and somehow an excuse to relay to the world how amazing they are?

Wowser...

Rant over.

And yes, it DOES feel better to get that off your chest ;)

Leave drama from other forums at the other forums please...
Did I bring the drama here?
No but I think that everyone patting him on the back and saying how great it is that he's learned should know that he left another board when confronted with the fact that though GREAT breeders tried to give him good advice and he didn't want to do the right thing then.

Do I believe he's different now?

No but if you all just want the wool pulled over your eyes yet again by yet another breeder than I'll leave it alone.

I just hate to see yet another person ruining the breed I love so much.

I`m not having a debate with you. I was merely saying to leave what happened on other forums where they belong - on other forums. It`s in the rules. Always has been. You implied you were going to search these other forums and find incriminating evidence against him and I was reminding you of the rules.

I thought this was done and over with. He admitted his wrong doings and all was well with everyone, and now someone is digging up his past again and suddenly its a change of attitude? I am curious to know if this was something that happened recently.

So if he was educated beforehand by people, then this is just one more lie. Well, one among many in this little blurb.

This was posted Sept. 29, 2008.

She had the litter just after she turned two. At the time, I thought that was ok, and that it was ok to have another litter eight months later on her second heat after the first litter. I was acting on the advice from my post vet in Fort Leavenworth.

I now know that wasn't the wisest thing to have done, and will be giving her at least three heats before I breed her again, if I do breed her at all. The quality, titles and OFA's of her progeny will have alot to do with my decision. Ty is OFA excellent, and her prelims came back as good. I haven't had her actual xrays taken and sent off yet.

Thank you for the reminder, I know the rules.
I was never going to post anything here in public but would have made it available to anyone that asked privately so they could read for themselves.

I don't believe that is against the rules.

As Judge Judy says , if you don't lie , you don't have to remember what you've said .
