My daughter has a 5 1/2 month old shih-tzu maltese cross. She had her spayed shortly after 4 months as our vet suggested. We have noticed since then that she urinates when excited. It is more like a trickle or leak. For instance is she is in her kennel for even an hour and you take her out and pick her up she trickles. If someone enters the room whom she loves and she gets excited she trickles. I picked her up one day to kennel her and she trickled down my shirt. The vet says she will always be this way. Does anyone know anything we can do about this? I personally dont care to have her visit me anymore as she is ruining my carpet. However she loves to come and play with my pup who is the same breed but younger. She doesnt do this when playing. Thanks for any help!!
