This is a follow up to my previous post on strange dog behavior. I think she is sick or something. I've got a vet appointment scheduled, but I'm still a little worried. My dog throws up sometimes, after eating, I started writing it off as "she is too hyper and she ate to fast" but sometimes im not so sure. And this past few weeks she started tipping over her food, or trying to cover it up. She just put a sock over the food, then tried to tip it over before I stopped her. I thought she was sick of my old food, so I started giving her different kinds, but she doesnt care. Could she not want to eat? What if she is sick, and she knows food makes her throw up, so she doesnt want to eat it? I'm worried.

Also it might be the fact that you changed her food. Puppies stomach are very delicate to food changes. Good luck at the vet...

Does she throw up after drinking water too? How often is she throwing up? I'd feed her 5 or 6 times a day, very small portions, putting it in a low, shallow pan, like a cookie sheet. You can put large objects in there that she has to go around to slow her down. Divide her daily portion into 5 or 6 feedings and see how it goes. A more bland diet might help too. Let us know what the vet says. I hope she'll be OK. My thoughts are with you. These dogs can cause us so much worry.

I normally feed her two times aday, in larger portions, I can try to divied it up more. She throws up after drinking, sometimes, I've seen it before but not often. She doesnt throw up after food always, just randomly. I'll be going to the vet tomorrow.
