Update #1: The little puppy I got on Tuesday is doing alright. With some pedialyte, good food, numerous baths and some rest, she's now bouncing around and yapping. And yapping. She and Eve seem to like each other quite a bit, but I'm afraid to let them play just yet.
Breed guesses, anyone?
Update #2: Nyxie, my little foster kitty that almost died, is now strong and full of herself. I love this little cat so much, it's gonna be hard to let her go.
Update #3: Mook. He's nuts. He's cute. He needs a home before I decide to keep him, because he gets along so well with Leia the Bordercat.
Update #4: Eve, posing proudly with the very expensive crate which she destroyed.
And... the big news. =)
At the local unofficial rescue here, there is a rather homely little black dog. About a year old, and just recovering from having a litter and then going through chemotherapy for some sort of cancer. She is mellow, loving, extremely gentle and upon meeting her, I thought "she'd be the perfect companion for Eve". I was pretty dead set on not getting another dog, but Frida is so easygoing and unobtrusive, I can't help but want to give her a try. Something about her really spoke to me. She's been living at this place (Dog Daze) for months and months, now, with nobody interested in adopting her. No pics yet, but I'll get some.
I'm not going to do anything with her until all three of my fosters are placed, so it may be a while. I've been told I'm too picky when I place animals. =/ LOL.
