Dear Izzie,

When we go for an hour long walk, you're supposed to come back more tired than when we left especially if i ran you for 20 minutes of that walk. You are not supposed to chase Chai around the house, running up and down the stairs screaming like a banshee after your walk; that is what i was trying to prevent.

Ours do that, too. We go for 2.5 hours with backpacks and when they come
home. Instead of drinking some water, and going to sleep. They run around and
play.

Hah! My dog is the same. Our dogs are out to get us I know it. She acts exhausted and then we get home, BAM! She chases after the cat.

The good news is that your dogs are healthy!
On a different note, if you want to slow them down may be they need some mental stimulation as well.? Just a thought
Oh she gets plenty... At least two 15-20 minute clicker sessions a day, she has a whole laundry list of tricks we practice and even more to learn.
