Dosage of Pepto Bismal for Dogs

I don't know about the Pepto, but you can give her one of those simethicone remedies, like Phazyme. At 70 pounds just give her one of the regular strength gels, not an extra strength.
If this is a problem all the time you need to address it at her food dish. That's where the problem originates 99% of the time. If you ate something that routinely gave you gas you'd stop eating it all the time, wouldn't you?

Actually all human drugs is the same for dogs but they call them different. You can ask your vet and they will tell you the same thing. For diarrhea you can give your dog Imodium A-D and you can get this from any drug store. For dosage you can ask your friendly pharmacist. I went to Walgreen to get this product and the pharmacist converted the dosage for me. Can you believe it, my dog only weighted 6 lb when he had major diarrhea and the pharmacist was able to convert the dosage to only 1 ml.
First, always check with your vet on the dosage, please! Pharmacists are not trained to know anything at all about animal medication! Occasionally you'll run into one who knows a bit because they have animals of their own and have learned, but you can't depend on finding that.
