Hello, I am Chris from Malta and am new to this forum. I am really experience a very bad situation with my dog as I wish and will always do anything that will cure my dog. She is 6 and half years and weigh 6.8kgs.
My dog has started sneezing,coughing and also like loosing breathe for around 10months now. I took her to vet , and she took blood check. Resulted that white cells were very high so she gave me doxycyline pills. took her blood again and white cells were ok now but she began to sneeze again. Took her again blood and white cells were high again unfortunetly. Vet gave me again doxycyline but this did not make any effect now so gave me different types of pills to cure like klacid, and also some type of small white steroids but they will only work for the first 3 to 5 days, then will start sneezing and like loosing breathe again
When she sneezing like crazy, it will discharge from her nose, first was white, then its green, now its white again with the pills. Vet told me to send this discharge to laboratory and they found 3 different of infections which are Escherichia coli- Moderate, Pasteurella species-Profuse, and Pseudomonas species-Profuse.
Vet gave me Marbofloxacin, gave her 60 pills. From when I started to 15 pills was ok, bit then she started again although I kept giving her all the 60 pills. Took her blood again and white cells were high again Now the vet gave me Ciprofloxacin. She was ok for the first 2 days, now started sneezing again although am still giving her the rest of the pills for 15 days.
Any help please of what can I do to this poor loveable dog?
