Okay, we've done our house hunt. We've found a house and we're in the process of trying to buy it.

If we get it there is a chance we won't move in till March as its tenanted.
It needs fencing on 3 sides, which will be done. But we also needed to set up a system to seperate Mac and Harry during the day.
We decided to build some dog runs. 2 of them for the boys. They don't spend more than a few hours a day by themselves now but this house has no garage so we can't do the system we're doing now.

Checked out the thread in buried bones but anyone else got other piccies or designs?

Gotta be good in hot and cold weather, protection from wind and rain and we'll be putting good kennels in each of them

We once saw a house where the owner built a carport with 3 sides enclosed. The roof slanted back so rain, etc. would run off the top. He then put the separate kennels under this structure. If you have large kennel runs, you could have part under the structure and part out in the open.
