I thought a GREAT name for a dog with wrinkles would be Bowtox. Not sure if i'd want to stand in the park calling that out though. I might get mugged by little old ladies wanting to get it done LOL

Old boss always told customers to choose a name that does not sound like no. I have no proof of this, but i do think they hear our vowel sounds more. He also advised names that could carry well his prize dogs that won the nationals were called Nip and Tuck..but they were hunting dogs so a name that carries well is very important. I let my mom name Victor because she seemed determined to come up with one, and since she is his doggy sitter i hope it would endure him to her a little more..he was such a handful..let us know what you decide!

Basset!
Spud is my dog's name! Never heard anyone else use it. My grandmother named him, before she had to give him up to me. They didn't have enough time to spend with him, and knew I was the sucker, er, one to ask! LOL

it really depends on what sort of dog it is, its sex and personality, colur/appearence and what sort of personality it will be givin by that name.
for instance, naming a chiwahwah killer, would make your dog seem a bit of a joke, and naming a rottie killer would make people possibly a little apprehensive it its presence.
i am 15 right now, though i am interested in getting a kelpie and a german shorthaired pointer,
kelpie - female - krill
pointer - female - unit
i also like the names
badger
domino
major
tusk
guiness
thistle and many more

apparently it is better tho name your dog a name that has 2 or more syllables in it so that your dog can distinguish its name more easily

I love that! I have to confess that when I found two stray kittens (from different litters) about a week apart, I wanted to name the one I kept, the male, Lescat, and call the little strawberry blond female that my Mom took Clawdia (from the Anne Rice vampire characters, Lestat and Claudia). . . the at-that-time-now-ex boyfriend put up too much stink though. :(

Oh, no one's answered your question yet! Shame on us!

Go to your edit profile page and click on avatar. It's pretty easy from there; getting the picture sized right is probably the hardest part. It took me several tries, lol, but if you run into snags let us know.
