Dog hair reflecting light?

I don't know if my room just doesn't have enough light, or its angled wrong, or what... but anytime I try to take pictures of the dogs they get that silvery look to them from (what I think) is my flash being reflected.

I normally can only take good pictures outside because of it. Tsuki's hair (she's a silver/grey colour) comes back all see-throughy when she's uber puffy and it just looks off and ugly.

It's something to do with false light Mere. I have black hair, and pictures taken inside have a bright shiny gray/blue tone to my hair...

This is most likely due to an issue with camera metering and flash levels. What camera/flash are you using? What settings?

If you post an example and some more specifics we may be able to help you solve it, but its hard just based on your description.
