Hi, I have an aunt who has had 2 puppies die from Parvo because the disease is all inside her house. I try very hard to keep my dog away from her house but the other day I caught my nephew bring my dog into her house. I Immediatly picked him up and brought him back outisde. My dog only took like 5 steps into her kitchen before I snatched him up. My dog HAS been vaccinated with the distemper parvo vaccine in october and he is a full grown 4 year old dog so I wouldn't think he has Parvo. Today he vommitted some water he drank but other than that he acts normal. He has a healthy apptetite, he runs all around the house, alot of energy, and doesn't show any signs of depression. I am just being extra careful though and wanted to get some advice from someone what the chances are that he may have parvo based one what I've described. Like I said, he is an adult dog and doesn't show any symptoms yet besides vommitting the water once today, he has been vaccinated and he was only in the contaminated area for like a few seconds. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

A vaccinated adult dog most likely will not get Parvo from a quick encounter like that. But your aunt needs to go top to bottom in her house with either bleach water (which means the dogs cannot be inside at all during this) or with a good hospital grade disinfectant that specifically states it will kill Parvo. And then she needs to bulldoze her yard over; Parvo can live in the ground for 7 years.

Sounds like your dog does not have parvo. Chances of a 4 year old with vaccinations getting it are pretty slim. Even if he does get it, it may not even be noticeable and will go away on its own.
A friend of mine came to my house after telling me that her dog had stomach infection. I did not know about parvo at this time. We had just got 2 puppies. I had vaccinations and one had not had them yet. The one without the vaccinations was in intensive care for 7 days and we just about lost her. The one with vaccinations needed some Pepto to sooth his stomach and he was fine.
Make sure you watch the dog though, because if I am not mistaken, it can take up to 10 days for symptoms to surface after contact.
Watch out for lethargy, lack of appetite and thrist, bloody stool or diarrhea that smells overly foul (more than normal poop, the smell will make you puke), vomiting etc. If you notice any of these things get your dog to the vet ASAP. The soon the diagnoses the better the chance of recovery.
