I like fruitcake, although I rarely seek it out. I adore pumpkin pie, though.

Fruitcake is disgusting. My mom buys one every time we're down in Claxton though. Ugh.

This poll needs an additional option. I love fruitcake because it makes an amazing doorstop.

My Dad loved fruitcake so Mom always had one around. He passed away in 1988. When I was cleaning out her fridge after she passed in 2003 and there, a waaaaaaaay in the back, was a fruitcake. Not only was Mom diabetic, but I had done all her grocery shopping for the last three years of her life and I had never bought her a fruitcake. I gave it to my brother and told him it was his inheritance, a relic, "Dad's Last Fruitcake".

I hope he kept it because there's supposed to be a Zombie Apocalypse this month sometime? With the gun control laws up here in Canada he'll need something to smack the heads off the brain-sucking hordes.

    Don't say it, I know I'm a little strange.

I've never tried fruitcake. We don't ever have it at family events.

I liked the ones my Mom made, but I have never liked store bought or anyone else that I tried.

I've never tried it. It doesn't look very appetizing to me though.

I think it ranks up there with water-boarding.

I hate store fruitcake most or em you can play tennis with lol.

My grandma makes these date lloaves (which I guess it technically fruit cake... It's the closest I have ever got anyway) & I LOVE them.

I picked "I like a well made fruit cake" because I had had a home made coffee cake fruit cake & it was very good but the store bautht stuff ... Even my dogs wouldn't eat it lol.
