We do. Our plans start at 11am with Doug's hair cut, then a special lunch out, then we are going to the theaters for 1pm to watch The Vow. I am very excited about that. Then after the movie we are hitting Moxie's for their white chocolate brownie. Then we have darts, where we will also have dinner. After darts it is home for a special cream cake Doug had made to cap the night off. He also has other plans but won't tell me what they are. His gifts though are his hair cut, new guitar strings and a new extra soft bath robe. This is the first year that we can actually afford to do a bunch of stuff so we are excited.

So any special plans for you guys?

Nope, not tomorrow. I'm starting a new job and he has both work and classes (working on his master's degree). We are going to our favorite/first-date spot this weekend though.

I work until 5. Get home in time to see Matt off for work. he works a double, so likely won't be home until after I go to bed.

The romance is ON FIYAH. I baked cookies for my co-workers.

We couldn't wait and did it today.

I got him a couple of card games, a puzzle, some soda and some freezer pops, and he got me some tomato and pea seeds, pots, chocolate, and a pendant he made.

We heated up a can of soup and played board games for three hours.

It was wonderful. <3

I hate Valentine's day. It's a "holiday" made up to people to make money, and February 14th means nothing to me at all.

That said, we will be celebrating Valentines Day on Friday night, cause I got sick of fighting to not celebrate it. He has stuff to do tomorrow though, and my prof decided to make a chat from 8-9pm tomorrow, so it thwarted making plans on the actual day.

As far as what we are doing, I haven't got a clue, other than going to his place. We'll probably watch movies in the guest house, Or something. Oh and food will likely be there, and my cell will probably be taken away and turned off (not if I have any say in it)

We don't really celebrate V-day, but we had brunch together on Sunday, watched a movie last night, and are working on getting into the habit of setting "tech free time" between 9p and 11p every night so we actually interact with each other instead of burying ourselves in the internet lol. We both like our veg time and it gets out of hand on weeknights for some reason!

Nope. I'm going to court today to get yelled at by an angry judge. Won't see my other half till Sat night, and haven't seen him since the weekend before the one just gone!

Nah. I don't see a point in buying overpriced flowers or chocolate. We love each other every day and him doing something special on his time instead of being forced to do so by the calendar and society means so much more :)

Around our house Valentine's Day is a day to have fun with Hannah. So we are just going over to Hannah's Best Friends house to play (although they exchanged their valentines on Sunday at Church lol) and then we will come home and probably make a Valentine's Day card for her daddy and maybe some other Valentines day crafts.

That's it :)

Hubby's boss asked him what he was getting me for Valentines day and he was so shocked when Brian said "uh... nothing?". Brian came home a little concerned that perhaps he should be getting me something and I said that I wasn't planning on getting him anything... the last thing we need in this house is more STUFF. I don't have room for the stuff we already have lol.

I like to do the fun kiddie Valentines stuff with Hannah but I don't have much desire for the rest of it. Flowers die, chocolates will just make me fat again and I don't need giant stuffed animals... we have more than enough of those lol. I won't get within a mile of a restaurant on Valentines day and definitely not attempting the movies. Plus it's just money we dont' need to spend. I'd rather save what we would have spent on Valentines day and put it towards another Disney trip LOL THAT's our Valentines day hahaha.

I don't dislike Valentines day or anything like that. It's a nice day and I'm glad others enjoy celebrating it and I always loved it as a kid and always like to do the kid stuff with Hannah and that's enough for me :)

We're not doing anything special. We don't really celebrate V Day but I will probably force Matt to play some kind of board game with me tonight. Scrabble torture is but one sign of my undying love.

I teach tonight, so won't be home at all. I did make him take me out for chinese food last weekend, so that sort of counts right? We arn't big gift people, so VD usually comes and goes (hee hee...)

Hubby is a CPA and unfortunately, we're in the midst of tax season. The last thing I want to do is fight the crowds to go out to dinner.

I'm cooking filet mignon, potatoes, and green beans (with shrimp cocktail as a starter) so we can eat when he walks through the door tonight.

Nothing big or special. Neither one of us like celebrating the commercialized version of Valentine's Day. We spend time together every day because we want to- we don't need a holiday to tell us to do that. lol.
