Not even noon at our heat index is at 100. It had been a pretty cool and rainy summer for us so I cant complain too much about this last heat wave.

Boot camp in the mornings has been AWFUL though and the poor chickens are not happy

It's getting hotter. Probably 28-30 today. But we're pretty dry here (although we've been moderately humid lately with a ton of crazy storms.

It's not as hot here as it has been the is to a couple of lows that moved thru this past week ... But all this rain means the humidity sky rockets which isn't good for humans, horses or ... My hair :p

But still it is nice to see the sun after a week of rain. Now the grass Can start growing again :)

We've got 97 right now, and a thunderstorm hit a little while ago to cool it down. Heat index is 105-109, depending on the area.

We're at 78 right now. It's muggy out but feels quite a bit nicer than it has last few days. I believe yesterday we were in the mid 90s.

We are at 92F with a 'feels like' of 98F and this is actually cooler than the last few days here! also keep in mind we are at the top of Indiana about 10-15 minutes from Lake Michigan! BLERGH!

I said it on FB, but I'll say it here too........I DON'T WANT ARKANSAS SUMMERS, I WANT INDIANA SUMMERS! It's BS to put up with Indiana winters if we aren't getting our lovely Indiana summers!

I can take the heat, but I can't take the humidity along with it. It's been so nasty you sweat just sitting on the porch in the shade o_O No joke!

Last I checked it was 88*F/31*C with a heat index of 94*F/34*C. That's fairly normal for this area.

94 today, suppose to get rain and thunderstorms tomorrow, high 80s. Then next week it'll be down in the 70s. So glad I've had the last two days off.

High was 93 with heat index of 106.
Pretty normal for July really.
I wouldn't care, I love the heat, but it makes it pretty hard to work my puppy...

Heat doesn't bother me, it's the humidity. And working in a building without AC in certain sections in 80-90 degree makes me thankful for my days off so much more!!
