Brady has been very disgruntled the past two days. The dog he usually plays with is out of town, and my hubby worked yesterday so it was just me, Brady, and the cat. He kept nudging me with his nose and making moaning noises, and I knew he wanted to go for a walk, the only problem was I was so sick. (I think I caught something from a family member that failed to mention they were sick :( ) So I felt so bad for him, but I could barely get off the couch without feeling dizzy, much less walk around the whole neighborhood in the drizzly cold rain. Poor boy.

My hubby did take him for a run a little while ago and he has been much better since then. Before the run he was stealing pants, shirts, socks, undies, papers, whatever he could to get us to chase him, and now he seems a little more subdued lying on the bed looking out the window being the watchful man he always is. He will be glad when his Jenny (the dog he plays with all the time) is home.

It is so rainy and windy here right now. Yuck!

I am better today, still a scratchy throat and the medicine is making my head feel a little loopy, but I am better. Thanks for asking. It may be rainy here, but I have a fuzzy cat at my feet and a big cuddly dog on my bed so it feels pretty cozy in here.

Hope you continue to feel better....FAST!!! Maybe Brady was trying to cheer you up by giving you his attention. (ok...maybe he was just being a bored kid..LOL) We must have your wind/rain here today....it's a day for people and pets to just snuggle indoors!

Better today, but the throat is still bothering me. Hubby took Brady for a long run a little while ago, so he is happy about that, plus Brady's girlfriend comes home today, so I will make sure they get some playing time!

Thanks for the get well wishes, I have been laying around drinking o.j. and watching movies. It was good yesterday when it was yucky weather but now it is a pretty day with a cool crisp temperature and i am longing to do something. Oh well, back to work tomorrow!

If only you could train your cat and dog to bring you your food without them eating it themselves. :D

Well, I'm sorry you've had the Thanksgiving bug. I got one too, but it hit me right in the belly. The nausea was bad enough, but now my ribs and all those core muscles are monumentally sore. Bimmer climbed up on the bed with me and repelled the girls during the day.

Charley decided to be helpful and feed Kharma. He thought she "looked hungry." The little vagrant always looks hungry. So he fed her about three times the amount of EVO she's supposed to get. You know what happened in the middle of the night! Someone had to go out - on the leash because she's coming into season. Guess who got the honors? I could have gleefully strangled Charley. Shiva got bored and strewed the trash ALL over the house. I spent half the next day picking up after her and taking all the trash outside and stacking it on the carport. Out here in the country we don't have garbage pick up and have to take it to the dump. It has to go in the truck, and I can't lift the big cans anyway (that's my story and I'm stickin' to it - lol) so eventually Charley has to break down and haul it off. If Shiva spreads it all over the yard - HE can pick it up!

I'm glad you're feeling better, Bogolove. We went out and had Mexican food and Mexican beer today; I figured it would either cure me or kill me and didn't much care which. I'm still kickin', so I guess I'll make it. It was either the Negro Modela or the salsa verde with habanero, or maybe the combination just made my insides surrender.

One thing I can say about this Thanksgiving . . . I'm thankful it's over! :D

Wow Renee you had quite a weekend too. Brady got some Jenny time tonight. i have never seen these two play like they did tonight. Usually after about a half hour of hard running/chasing/playing/wrestling, they are tired and ready to stop. Those two were still going hard after an hour. Jenny's owner even said she couldn't beleive they were still playing and running so hard after so long. I guess they missed each other. Of course he STILL has energy. He is staring at me and making growling/moaning noises. Better go give the pup some love......

Nope scratch that. He just wanted to go pee and he is still currently sniffing the yard in the rain. He likes to go out in the rain for a bit if it is not raining too hard.....
