Didn't like the school photo..Hyia

Never do. Requires going out and taking my own. THe lighting isn't right, and we are going to do it again, because it was almost dark and I had to use the flash which ruins eveyrhing in my camera, but I love the dress and think it's worth a trip back in the late afternoon. IT is so hard to get her not to pose.

its a for sure do over, but I really like the dress and she is in love with Horses as most 12 yr old girls are. So a good place to go. THe social worker at the school gave her the dress, the leggings and the purse to go with it. So she was happy to be dressed up for the auction. I was too..I wish I would have thought to hand the camera to my son, but he got there late, and by that time it was really dark and I had forgotten.

I do not like her haircut but she does, and it's her choice. It was just so pretty long. I even liked it the way it was before this. I can't get use to this oneand will be glad when she moves on to something else. Glad she did get my highlights. She calls my hair "sparkly". She is a healthy girl, in a big body with a little girl heart. SHe is swimming laps and is doing better and better at this. She has lost 10 lbs and is finding she is stronger and it is getting easier.

Her long hair was beautiful, but this suits her too, somehow. She's lucky -- she looks good in either.

I'm glad the swimming is helping her. That's going to go a long way.

Very good choice of locales! I have to say I'm with you about Hyia's hair...and why is she trying to throw gang signs?

She was trying to make a heart. She doesnt' know gang signs.

Since she is in the pool about 4 days a week at the least, this is easier to manage with the chlorine. I will give it that. WE were having a major problem there.

SHe is up to 49 laps. THe swim coach at the high school gave her encouragement told her she was progressing and doing well. She told her that her team does 200 as a warm up so she has a goal. Each time she does one or two more than the time before. SHe has found it relaxes her and helps get rid of a lot of anxiety.

The one with the two horses is adorable! Her hair definitely makes her look older--bittersweet, I'm sure. She's at such a transition age.
