I recently spread the diatomaceous earth all over my apartment. I have successfully gotten rid of the fleas!! Yea:) I was reading somewhere that it is safe to put on dogs. Does anyone know if this is true?

Partially depends what grade of DE you used. Food/medical grade is safe to ingest, and is less sharp edged if you happened to inhale it. Pool filter and industrial grades of it apparently have sharper edges to their particles and it's more hazardous to breathe.

What is this miracle that gets rid of fleas? Where can I get it? Is it a powder or something that stays on your floors and stuff?

Please e-mail me with any and all information you may have as we are STILL dealing with fleas.

I got mine from a pool company and didn't put it on the dog because I figured it wasn't safe. It did however get rid of the fleas:) Thanks for the tips:)

You sprinkle it on floors carpets furniture if you want. The DE kills the fleas by sucking out moisture and killing them essentially. Then you can vacuum and sweep it up.
