We just finished deworming Juno with Panacur (she didn't actually have worms - just a preventative? Not sure if that's just normal procedure with puppies). She had 1 dose on June 10th, and then she got her other dose yesterday. And now she has diarrhea. Is that normal? I remember my mom saying a while back that it looked like Juno had some runny poos, but for the life of me I can't remember if that was after she had gotten her 1st dose.

I'm just not sure if this is normal after they've been dewormed, or how long we should wait before we assume something else is going on.

Diarrhea's a pretty standard side effect of the de-wormer. I wouldn't be too concerned unless it continues for more than a day or so. You know the drill, just make sure Juno doesn't get dehydrated and feed her a little canned pumpkin :)

A lot of wormers are like killing a fly with a baseball bat. IT's a shock to the whole system. I would throw in a couple spoonful or yogurt with live cultures to help rebalance evertyhing.
