When Deputy is in the "Dementia Zone", he of course cannot understand/hear commands. That would be fine if he didn't have a barking issue.

Where are far enough away from any neighbors so they can't hear/complain about it, but my ears ring after awhile. He appears to be barking at things in his own head (other dogs are not reacting, we cannot hear/see anything). Telling him no, removing him from the room and ignoring him do not work.

Has anyone dealt with this before? Any suggestions?
