What amazing photos! She's grown so much since I last saw photos of her, and its lovely that she enjoyed the water so much!

I may be taking her again next weekend. My mom wants me to do a few senior portraits of my brother and we figured we'd do the photos out by the lake. If that's the case then I will prob bring Cricket with us so she can go play in the lake again.

HAHA why does that remind me of the Lion King movie? lol. She does look like a hyena though... ESPECIALLY when her hackles are up from head to tail. She really is one of a kind that's for sure.

HAHAHAHA I think I might start calling her that lol... of course not around people who might actually believe that's what she is. I've already had numerous people stop me around here to ask what she is and where can they get one just like her. HAHA. She is seriously the coolest little dog.

She's beautiful! I love the action shots. What kind of harness is that she's wearing? And how much does she weigh again? Every time I look at your pictures all I can think is how leggy she is!

I can't remember what kind of harness it is but it clips over her back and has two D rings on the back on either side of the clip that you hook the leash to. I just got it at petco or petsmart or something so it isn't the most amazing quality, but it's been great for her while she's growing.

She's about 19.5 inches high at the shoulders and mostly legs. She's around 25lbs. She's more legs than anything and she has a super long lean body... almost reminds me of some of the different sighthound breeds I've seen. Her body looks more long and lean in person I think than in pictures. Whatever she is though, she's really neat looking

Hmmmm. I need to see if I can find or make one for Tipper. She's got one that goes over her head but she absolutely hates it. And is scared of it for reasons beyond me.

Cricket's like an extremely long leggy version of Mu!! They weigh exactly the same! I think Mu must be more dense.....LOL.

This harness slips on through the legs and then just clips on the back so it doesn't have to go over the head.

If you have Farm&Fleet around you, they often carry a very similar harness. Mira had one as a pup and that's where I got it.

She is so cute! For some reason, she reminds me of Traveler :p

P.S I think you really need to change your location from New Mexico, everybody thinks you are in Mexico :rofl1:

haha that's why I ended up posting so many photos. I couldn't even decide on a favorite. there's even more on my facebook and even MORE on my desktop.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks she's prettier in real life. She is so striking in photos, but then I turn and look at her and I can't help but think that photos do no nearly do her any justice.

I'll be honest, I look at photos sometimes of Trav that remind me of Cricket and vice versa too.

and... oh crap... I forgot it said New Mexico. I'm just going to go ahead and change it to Virginia since I'll be back in Virginia probably in a few weeks anyways.

Thank you. She had a blast. I think I may take her again this weekend for sure. Wish I could bring Bamm, but I worry that if there are other dogs there he may make our adventure way less fun if he decides to be a jerk.

Thank you so much! The quality isn't too bad considering my little Nikon D60 has seen a LOT of use and really needs to be cleaned badly. I'm so pining for a camera upgrade. I LOVE Cricket's coat. She has this striping that goes down her front left leg that I absolutely love the most.

Here's a couple pics of her that show the striping on that leg that I'm talking about. I chose some younger puppy pics since a few of you are newer to the board and weren't around when she was younger:

RD took this picture when she was fostering Cricket

and hell while I'm at it.... a couple more puppy Cricket pics... because who doesn't love a puppy
