Hi, Shadow seems to have constipation. He tries to go but nothing comes out. This has only been happening today, yesterday he went fine. I did a search and found some of the suggestions and was going to try the canned pumpkin. I just had some follow up questions, how much should I give him? How long should it take to help out? I think I know the cause, we've been switching him to half raw/half kibble, we've been doing it very very slowly and he seems to have no problem with turkey or chicken, but today was the first beef day. Im thinking I should switch back to chicken tomorrow since I know some dogs dont do well on some kinds of meat. Thanks for any advice!
constipation question

I gave him the pumpkin so hopefully on our walk tonight he'll go poop. But now his eyes are getting all goopy, like yellow goopy. This has never happened before, but he's not acting sick and Im not sure whats happening. Ill take him to the vet tomorrow, but it wont be until later in the afternoon. Any ideas on what might be wrong with him? Or is this just a coincidence?
