A friend of mine found these puppies abandoned in her yard. I am considering giving one of them a home, but I would like to know what breed(s) they are, so that I can better decide if they are a good fit for my family. Can anyone give any input on breed based on these pictures? Thanks!

I couldn't figure out how to load a pic without hosting it externally, so I have just included the link to the photo album I created here. I hope it works.

Edit to add: they are believed to be around 10-12 weeks old, and one of the two has a non-functioning, malformed front leg.

They are adorable! I have a soft spot for the one with the malformed front leg, though

Some kind of hound, American bulldog maybe. It's really hard to tell with pups.

Do you know how much they weigh? Also, a side shot would help, preferably standing. I agree that they're pretty young to know for sure, though.

Cute pups, though. Let us know what you decide!

They look hound-ish to me, too. If you're interested, I say take the one with the malformed front leg - he'd have a harder time finding a home. Plus, who doesn't love freckled ears? :D
