I singled Demi out because I pay attention more than you think, I know that Demi does script work on Chaz. Buckshot came into mind after thinking about who else would be in on it... he seems like a prankster!

Red, I think I can explain it in simple terms. They (the naughty ones) made a thread that for each of us had OUR names in the thread title. Each of us thought that the thread was about only us, but it turned out that everyone saw the page with their own name on it. (I think it was in the general dog chat forum)

The message was something about how stupid we are...how we spoil our dogs and we're Mary Poppins and we feed them designer foods. Furthermore, we coddle and cuddle them so much that they must be taking over our lives and being the alphas...etc.

Then the slower ones (like me) took it as an insult by this member whom we had never seen on Chaz, some newbie spammer (we thought) and were angry. Before too long most of the members realized there was something fishy going on and it must be for April Fools' day. Boy, I was sure fooled at first. And a little "grrrrrrrr" but then I got the joke finally and laughed it off.
