Recently I've been spending some time making dog art on my computer which I would like to sell as poster prints and on some other items at Cafepress and Zazzle, I thought I'd post my first one of a Boston Terrier and hope to get some opinions on what you guys think. I'm going for the simple look, so what do you think?

YOUr work has strong graphic appeal, i like the shadowing and the colors go well. Good luck!

I have a little trouble with the line up of the eyes but it might just be me. The bottom line. Could be correct but it seems off just slightly, one lower then the other.

Thanks for the input, yes, I think I will try to rework the eyes. Maybe then he will look perkier too, lol.

I'd also not cut off the ears, especially if you want t-shirt designs. It's gorgeous, though, and you're an excellent artist. If I had a Boston I'd definitely want that!

I have no problem with the cropping and the only reason i mentioned it is becuase i work at alignment of dogs eyes on scultures day in and day out. I might be wrong, but since your computer it wouldn't be hard to raise it up a mil and see. It is a strong piece, you should do well. ANd do more. Rock on! Would make nice tote bag as well.

Thank you very much. I don't mind the cropped ear but I didn't like the way it curved so I changed it. I also reshaped the eyes and I think that they now appear to be more on the same level. So what do you think?

I love it!

I don't mind the cropped ear, honestly, I didn't mean it to sound that way. I just meant that if you were going to put the image on t-shirts, mug, etc, it would be better not to have the ear cropped.

What program are you using?

Thank you. I make digital pet portraits on framed ceramic tiles from customers photos. I manipulate the photo in a graphics program so that it resembles a painting. There's examples and more info on my site at http://dogshop.50webs.com

I'm finishing a boxer that I'm working on, how does it look? Anything out of place?
