I need assistance.

I'm looking for a harness for Eve, one that I can substitute for the capes and packs she wears to identify her as a service dog.

I'd just rather she have a less imposing (even though my favorite pack is not bulky at all, it was rather costly and I don't want to wear it out with constant everyday use) and more durable piece of equipment that I can attach some form of ID to, or have embroidered.

It needs to be very comfortable. The leather can be heavy-duty (and I prefer it to be) but keep in mind this is a 19" 30lb dog we're talking about. I'm thinking I prefer leather for her, but padded nylon is okay too if it's machine washable. I love the padded breast-plates on a lot of the agitation harnesses and would like something similar for Eve.

It needs to have a space where I can attach her SD identification. And if I can be picky, I like brass hardware.

So let's see your favorite harnesses and where you got them!

I recently ordered a cdpits harness for Ella. I believe, if you contact Cindy when you order, that you can have stuff embroidered on the harness. I ordered a walking harness, though she makes weight pull, too. They're padded in the front and not on the sides.

Cd Pits Harnesses

I haven't received Ella's yet, as it can take her 5-6 weeks to get it made and shipped to you, but from what my mother-in-law says (who owns a Giant schnauzer) they are WELL worth the wait.

I know they're comfortable because my mother-in-law's dog always wants his on.

I have no idea if that would be something you're looking for or not.:D

Ooh, I've considered a cdpits harness actually! I'd be interested in seeing Ella's once you get hers. They look very comfortable. I'm really thinking of this as something she can wear on our really long days when the packs and capes would be cumbersome or would get too dirty. Those look like they'd stand up to her.

I wonder if they're thick enough though, to stand out from her fur. I need something that people can see easily, if it's embroidered.

If it's embroidered, it'll be embroidered on the thicker parts, I believe. I cannot wait to get Ella's! I've wanted one for SOOOO long, but never got around to ordering one. I will DEFINITELY be posting pics of her in it when I get it! :D
