We finally decided to get a dog. We searched through various shelters....a Boxer?....no.....a Basset Hound?......no......a little white dog?......no. Then we saw her. A cute little tannish puppy looking at us, wiggling her rump with a "Hey! Look at me!!! I'm cute, you want ME!" look on her face. One of the staff members took her out for us, and she cuddled up, wagging her adorable curly tail and licking our faces. It was a match made. The next day we picked up Colby and brought her to a local pet supply store, where we got her toys, food, a leash and collar, treats...all the things we needed. Colby is still that puppy we picked up at the shelter. She loves to wiggle around, chase squirrels up trees, take two mile walks, cuddle up on the couch, and best of all, she loves it when I bake her some munchies. Colby is a great pal. She's so intelligent and loving, easy to train....Colby is a miracle. She was thrown out a car window in a sack .
