CJ was such a good and special dog. Yesterday she started walking into walls and knew nobody. We took her to the vet this morning and found out her liver levels were actually improving but there was some kind of neurological problem now. We had to do what was best for her. We were both with her and she went peacefully.

I've had CJ for 13 years and has been with me through so many heartaches. I miss her so much. I know we did the right thing, but my tears won't stop. You just want them to live forever.

Here's a pic I found of her when she was in good health and outside enjoying the yard.

I want to thank everyone for their prayers while she's been going through the liver disease.

Thank you. I'm at such a loss that I don't know what to do with myself. Somehow being here on Chaz is comforting.

oh barb, I am so sorry for your loss. It's never an easy thing to deal with... even if it's the right thing to do. I have been there many times, I truly know how you feel. I can tell you from my experience that time does help with the sorrow. I still can shed a tear at the drop of a hat when I think about any of my beloved dogs that have gone on to the rainbow bridge... but I can usually replace the sorrow with happy memories I shared with them. RIP CJ, you will be missed but never forgotten.

Barb, I am so very sorry. :(

I feel that I must commend you for being so supportive. You told us of CJ's problems and you stood by her and made the best (and the hardest) decision for her. Not many people could do that sort of thing.

I can just see her now... running free at the rainbow bridge, smiling down on you...where she will wait for you.

Rest in peace, CJ....rest in peace.

Thank you all for being there for CJ and me. I do know she is in a better place, out of pain, and with my past dogs and all of yours enjoying a life without pain.

Oh, Barb . . . CJ left you in good paws though. She's raised Max and Kona and Jake. I know she's been getting Kona ready to step in and keep you safe and guard you from too much loneliness.

I am so sorry for your loss...what you did for CJ was the greatest act of love and I know that there will be a day when we are all reunited, until then, rest assured that CJ is in good company...my thoughts and prayers are with you.
