Hey I thought this might be a nice thread to have with Christmas coming up :) I figured we could post good deals that we have come across that helped us save money on Christmas shopping

DVD | Blu ray DVDs | CDs | Books | Free Shipping on Orders Over $15 at DeepDiscount.com has many of their childrens DVD's on for Buy one get one free. click on the sale info on the page and it will take you to a list of the dvd's included in the sale. Just enter KIDSBOGO during check out

AND then you can also use code HAPPY5 to get an additional $5 off :) Make sure you do the $5 AFTER getting your BOGO discount or you won't save as much.

I just got Hannah two barney DVD's (shes into that now lol) for $7.78 including shipping :)

Oooh, excellent thread...since we just bought a house, I'm going to be doing a frugal Christmas this year. (If people lived closer to us, I'd just invite them all over for dinner and call it a day...)

I have a closet full of gifts I've been accumulating over the year when I see a really good deal on slickdeals.net forums. I have a rubix puzzle for my dad ($25 on sale for $3), a bag full of 90% board games from target for toys for tots, a few gizmos for my sister, and when Laurelin's drawings come, that will be for my sister as well.

AWESOME idea! Always need cheap-ish but nice Christmas present ideas.

I always say I am going to get my shopping done early though and end up waiting until the week before. never fails.

I love doing those mixes in mason jars. I have a book full of ideas from pancakes, cookies, soups & drinks.

If I could sew, one of my college friends made blankets that fold up into a pillow that is super handy

Walgreens.com is offering a FREE 8×10 collage print when you enter the code CLG8X10 at checkout thru October 22nd. You can also get an 11×14 Poster for just $1.99 with code PSTR4LESS. Just choose in store pick up to avoid shipping costs. You can create yours today, but you can pick it up at any time.

My idea is to do the collage for the gradnparents. get a couple of affordable frames and sand the finish off of them (unless I can find raw wood frames) and then Have Hannah paint and decorate the frames, put the collage inside and gift them for Christmas :)
